Not to waste a second of the weekend, we'll be starting the festivities on Friday afternoon with a low-key folk session (accompanied by oodles of tea and cake) while everyone arrives and pitches their tents. This will be followed by an all-out party to get everyone in the mood for the big day, with a selection of delicious pizzas to keep everyone energised and some beers to wash it all down. Soft drinks (and other alcoholic beverages) are also available.
On Saturday morning, we'll provide some restorative breakfast to cure any lingering hangovers before transporting everyone to Howgills Quaker meeting house in Letchworth for the ceremony itself.
Once the formalities are over, we'll celebrate with a hearty homemade buffet in the gardens of Howgills before heading back to the festival site for a huge knees up, starting with cake and ending with a silent disco (with plenty of live music, hot food and an open bar in between).
We couldn't decide whether we wanted a punk-rock or a folksy vibe, but luckily that's what Sunday's for! After breakfast and Bloody Marys, there'll be plenty of time to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Radwell Mill.
The afternoon will kick off with a relaxed Senegalese lunch, followed by a very British ceilidh in the evening.
Well done! You made it through to the end. As a reward, we'll be laying on coffee, croissants and other delicious breakfast delicacies (granola, anyone?) before we all go our separate ways. We're missing you already! xx
